Artiste, chorégraphe, commissaire et chercheure Lynda Gaudreau est particulièrement intéressée par les pratiques expérimentales et radicales. Son travail le plus souvent minimal s'élabore au sein de séries. Les formes que peuvent emprunter les procédés chorégraphiques dans le champ de l'image et sa mise en espace sont au cœur de ses projets. Elle crée des dispositifs où film, corps et objet s'interpénètrent.

Lynda Gaudreau a collaboré avec de nombreux lieux de la scène contemporaine internationale. Lynda Gaudreau has been leading an international career in Europe and in Canada. Her work which encompasses creation, research, and curatorship examines the choreographic approach and involves a constant dialogue with architecture, visual arts, and cinema. She deals with the performativity of space and its aesthetic, as well as its social and political dimensions. She integrates the body, the object, sound, image, and text in a mise-en-espace that is most often "off," either shifting or ruptured. Her many collaborations include a longtime association with Flemish organizations, and a partnership with the Théâtre de la Ville de Paris which coproduced and presented her work for seven years.

Lynda Gaudreau has collaborated with several of the most prestigious contemporary arts organizations, such as the Venice Biennale, Leonard & Bina Ellen Gallery and the Architectural Association School of Architecture (AA) in London, the University of the arts Helsinki and more recently VOX, centre de l'image contemporaine.
